Labor makes us an election commitment

On behalf of the Executive Committees, players, members, and supporters of both Jandakot Senior and Junior Football Clubs, I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible news that Atwell Reserve will be receiving $2.6 million towards the upgrade of the Atwell Reserve facilities.

The Roger Cook Labor Government has committed to improving the facilities at Atwell Reserve. Labor candidate for Jandakot, Stephen Pratt, a long time supporter of our Club has been advocating for the funding and on Saturday visited us with David Templeman MLA to formally announce the commitment.

This significant investment is a crucial step toward accommodating the growing number of participants playing football at The Jets, particularly the talented and dedicated female players coming through our junior program. The refurbishment includes the construction of two extra gender neutral change rooms and the refurbishment of the two existing changerooms. This will assist in the promotion of female football in the Atwell and surrounding areas

This upgrade will ensure Atwell Reserve remains a hub for local football excellence, supporting not just the needs of our current players and officials but also setting the foundation for the next generation of players.

In addition to his support for this funding, Stephen Pratt has also committed to delivering an extra $10,000 for new equipment for the Jandakot Senior Football Club upon re-election.
